Spring Days!

The weather has been down right gorgeous the last couple of weeks. It has been so great and the kids love playing outside. So Jackson and Briana will get out and ride the tractor and the tricycle. Well, Jax has taken his driving lessons from his dad so he has learned to skid the tires and almost do donuts in the driveway. It's pretty funny and he is so proud of himself. (see video on the right) Briana still just pushes with her feet instead of the pedals, but she still likes to do it. We are just taking advantage of the weather while we can until it gets unbearably hot. Yeah for Spring!

Snow Trip

Over President's Day Weekend, I didn't have to work on monday so at the last minute we decided to head off to my Grandpa's cabin with my parents to go play in the snow. Jackson had been begging to go see the snow, so we finally gave in. My grandpa lives in Strawberry just 30 mins past Payson. We left late Sunday afternoon. When we got there, there were just patches on snow on the ground and it wasn't too cold. There was just the right amount of snow for the kids to play in. They had a blast. Jackson didn't even want to come inside. We stayed the night and woke up and played in the snow some more. That morning was freezing. Right by the cabin we stayed at was a little hill to sled down. We sled a couple of times down the hill. Jax didn't want anything to do with that. Bri went down with Jerry and I went a couple of times. Then Jerry decided to try and kill himself by standing up on the sled. Now mind you the snow wasn't soft and fluffy. It was pretty hard and frozen over, but he made it down without even falling flat on his face. Anyways, we had a great time making snow castles and having snow ball fights. It was a blast!
