Look out Beckham and Ronaldo! Here comes Jackson!

After waiting almost 4 long years, the time has finally come for Jackson to play soccer. Since he was born, Jackson has been playing soccer! (He's a Barney, of course!) September 15th was his first game. He was so excited to play! They changed how they did things this year, so we were a little nervous, but it is going fine. The first half hour of his soccer game they actually practice, then the second half they scrimmage another team. (Which means no practices during the week, which is very nice!) The first game Jackson was a little timid. He didn't want to take the ball away from anyone. He's such a sweet boy! The second time out, he was definitely more confident and went after the ball more! He listens very well to the coach and does all the drills extremely well. Jerry practiced with him a little bit to make sure he knew what he was doing. But he really seems to be a natural, and we know he loves it, it's in his blood! My position as Soccer Mom has finally come and I'm excited about that, too!
